So glad that this one has been saved. It's cool things like the Citrus Center Monument that make exploring history fun.

Took a side trip on my way back to Orlando to visit forgotten Citrus Center Monument #1. It is about 15 miles north of Lakeland, at the intersection of Hwy 54, right before entering Pasco County. It looked as if it had been cleaned up, nice to see a piece of history being preserved. Note: not all sides of it are engraved, but unlike tower #2, everything is correctly spelled.
