An absolute must for railroad enthusiasts, the museum has so many artifacts and memorabilia packed into such a small area. In the front section there is a large collection of china and silver from various railroad lines. As you move further into the museum you come across lanterns dating to the civil war, brass bells and whistles, railroad signage, and a full size furnished Illinois Central depot.
The attached Whistle Stop Restaurant was clean and offered an affordable array of sandwiches and entrees with four model trains moving overhead all the while.
