Colorado Springs, Colorado: Dine in a Plane

An old, full-size airplane, with wing extending into the "normal" restaurant, can be boarded for in-cabin dining. Too bad eating on an airborne plane isn't this much fun.

Dine in a Plane

This is so much fun. The plane is beside the restaurant with a wing going through the dining room. You go up stairs into the plane. You may dine in the plane or in the restaurant. Be sure to check out the entire area, really cute. Highly recommended for young children.

We loved eating at the Airplane Restaurant. It was a little hot inside the plane, but it was fun and the food was good. You can sit in the cockpit or stand outside and take pictures.

Dine in a Plane

We went here for dinner. Food and service was good, but the real fun is eating in the plane and playing in the cockpit (which is highly encouraged). Dress is casual, children are welcome. The bar/dining room and entry are decorated with aviation memorabilia and the staff is dressed like flight crew. Altogether a fun experience.

Dine in a Plane

The food in the plane was actually amazing, I had chicken strips and my boyfriend had ribs. Both were awesome and this place is just flat out cool! Totally worth the detour when you're in or around the Springs.

This was an amazing experience. You literally get to eat inside the plane. The wait staff is awesome and the food is very good! A must do when in Colorado Springs!
