Museum of Glass

A recently-opened wing of contemporary art glass works is worth a visit for the architecture alone. The works it houses are stunning. There are two hot glass demonstration theaters where, should you choose to, you can sit directly above artisans as they twirl semi-molten glass on blowpipes. Other wings house a history of glass from ancient times to the present and another wing presents an enormous collection of smaller contemporary art pieces. You could spend days exploring this museum.
