Charleston, South Carolina: Bessie, Rotating Cow

Rotating here since 1959. Bessie has been ridden, had her tail torn off, and been shot with BBs. But she's always been repaired, and is lowered to the ground whenever the forecast calls for a hurricane.

Rotating Cow

Stopped by to see the Rotating Cow, only to find that she went into hibernation during hurricane season, which is from June 1st until Nov 30th (at least for this year). Plan accordingly if you would like to see the cow in rotating action.
