- From Nelson drive north on Hwy 3A. Cross the orange bridge across Kootenay Lake, then continue north another 3.5 kilometers. You'll see the boat-house on the left, at the intersection of Hwy 3A and Nasookin Rd. Private property; visible from the street.

This is the top part of a paddlewheeler ship that used to make trips [before 1947] on the lake that it now overlooks. It is currently a private residence, but it still is neat to look at!
