Liberace at Neon Boneyard

You can see the original sign from the now-closed Liberace Museum at the Neon Boneyard on North Las Vegas Boulevard. It is mixed in with all of the other signs and treasures of the past.

Neon Boneyard

I have been to the Neon Boneyard twice, most recently in August of 2011, and what a treat this is for lovers of old neon signs. The sheer amount of signage is staggering. I particularly love the way the signs are laid out: some are haphazardly thrown together, and some are grouped by theme. A docent from the museum accompanies you on the tour, but you can elect to either listen to the guided tour they give, or you can walk at your own pace and take pictures at your leisure. The latter option is good if you want to take pictures of all of the signs without being bogged down by the "guided tour." Either way, this attraction is not to be missed!

Absolutely amazing collection of neon signs. One hour simply was not enough for me. I will be back!
