This teapot has been located in this town as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in the area, and it has been there all my life ( I am over 50 yrs!). It used to sit on the site at the end of the OLD Chester Bridge that crossed the Ohio River. Some years ago it was moved to and restored at the other end of Chester where you come off the new Chester Bridge, on land that used to be part of the old Rock Springs Park.
[Vicki Lanham, 04/01/2002]The World's Largest Teapot (and accompanying creamer) are at the bottom of a Route 30 hill in Chester, West Virginia. I have seen the teapot on several visits; it was moved to this site and repaired and repainted about 8 years ago. (I even have a miniature replica of the WLT in my office!)
