Futuro house.

Futuro: Flying Saucer House

The Futuro saucer is located closer to Royse City than Quinlan. It's the only UFO saucer, not two.

[christy lasalle, 10/20/2019]

The saucer received a bright orange paint job around five years ago, which appears to be holding up well.

Abandoned Futuro home.

They're heeeeere. It's on the side of the road. There's parking. It's an interesting thing to stumble upon.

Futuro - Flying Saucer House

Great stop.

[Dawn Green, 11/10/2018]

The Futuro was a novel 1960s portable home designed by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen. This one used to be located in Garland, Texas in the 1980s-'90s, and later ended up in a field. It sat empty and neglected, was repainted orange in 2014, and has a fresh layer of graffiti added since....

Futuro remains.

Futuro - Flying Saucer House

I have it on good authority from some friends that grew up in nearby Quinlan that this was an actual home at one point in the past -- somebody did live there. It looks as if it was painted since the RA picture posted, but all the windows are gone and it's a graffiti repository inside now.

Flying Saucer House

This UFO House looks a lot like the "Moon Burger" that was on New Boston Road in Texarkana, TX during the late '60s/early '70s. Is it possible someone bought it and moved it?

[ADKgirl, 06/13/2011]

Possible... could also be an entirely different Futuro house.
