I have it on good authority from some friends that grew up in nearby Quinlan that this was an actual home at one point in the past -- somebody did live there. It looks as if it was painted since the RA picture posted, but all the windows are gone and it's a graffiti repository inside now.

- From Royse City drive south on FM 548 for five miles. Turn left at the stoplight onto TX-276. Drive two miles. You'll see the Futuro House on the right. It has its own little pull-off for parking.

The Futuro was a novel 1960s portable home designed by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen. This one used to be located in Garland, Texas in the 1980s-'90s, and later ended up in a field. It sat empty and neglected, was repainted orange in 2014, and has a fresh layer of graffiti added since.
