[The Uniroyal Gal is visible but no longer accessible for close-up inspection]. Had to photograph her through a chain link fence.
[Leeandpaul, 04/19/2022]There is also an abandoned "Pearsonville" -- which was the "Hubcap Capital of the World." Now a ghost town, but a park/playground has been restored. Nice place to stop for lunch!

Standing tall, and not a hubcap in sight.

She is faded, but worth stopping to see! Looks like she's being held up by some sort of giant rubber band around her waist. Odd. And yes, red panties.
[CS, 07/07/2015]We were here a couple years ago on our way to the Manzanar internment camp. The Uniroyal Gal is cool, but the playground was beyond creepy. Dilapidated McDonald's playland relics were the main "attractions," and our kids had the place to themselves since no one else was there. The creepiest part, though, was when we decided to walk over to a rock adorned flowers only to discover it was the grave of the Muffler Queen's husband. Nothing like letting your kids loose on a playground only to stumble upon a grave site.
