Only in Michigan will you find wax dioramas devoted to local lore such as the Wooden Leg Murderer and the Melon Head Experiments.

I-75 exit 344, onto US Hwy 2 West for a couple of miles, north side of road at the intersection of Martin Lake Rd, just west of the Deer Ranch.

I dropped in on your delightfully profiled Weird Michigan Wax Museum. The museum contains charmingly thorough dioramas of several low points in Michigan history, including the Wooden Leg Murderer and the Melon Head Experiments. The personal, narrated tour made these oddities seem very real to me. I can't wait to come back with my family!
