A dog is the elected Mayor Lucy, or "Lu Lu" as the locals call her. She seemed to be everywhere at once: fetching a stick with all the bikers in front of the store, playing in the creek behind the store and wading in the Ohio River when we walked out to the banks.
Former Mayor "Junior," who was a black lab, has passed on. Really cool part of the world and very laid back -- as any place with a border collie for a Mayor should be.
