Truckhenge - a bus.

We visited on a cool November day. We pulled into the yard and were proceeding down the drive when we heard a lady yelling. It seems that the stop signs are not part of the art. They want you to stop so they can give you an overview of the art and layout. The lady was very nice and told us some of the stories behind the yard art. Very eclectic. Fun stop on a long drive to New Mexico.

Truckhenge and its creator were a real trip. The owner's [latest] claim to fame: he threw a party and ended up with 250 pounds of empty beer cans. Wow! That must have been a helluva party.

Truckhenge now advertises an art park, fishing pond, and a rubble dump. Take the road all the way to the end, then turn right. You can get out and take some snaps of the upended trucks, but the entrance is about a half-block down. Watch out for the chickens walking around!
