The Seaford Wesleyan Church, also known as the Ark Church, has the facade of Noah's Ark with peek-a-boo animals.

Noah's Ark Church

We went looking for this church. We got to the exact intersection at Route 13 and Tharp Road. Went down Tharp Road, it's all being built., There was no church. We checked the surrounding area and still no church. It wasn't on the Garmin and no one seemed to know what we were talking about.

Wooden Ark

Update: The ark is still there, and it is an impressive sight. However, a disclaimer: don't go expecting to see a church in the shape of an ark. Rather, it is a church with the front of an ark attached to it (there's a difference. If you see it, you'll know what I'm talking about). Still, it is neat to see. The church is the "New Horizon Church," and the people there are very friendly. Also, the parking lot is made of small stones and crushed seashells.

Directions: Driving into Seaford, going south on RT 13, you'll see it on the right hand side. Pay close attention, because trees block the ark's view from the road, and it is easy to miss. There is a sign for H+R Block on the opposite side of the road a little ways away.

Wooden Ark

On Rt. 13, near Seaford, there is a church that looks like a large wooden ark. I am not sure of the denomination. Look for it on your right as you head south, it is easily visible from the road. There are even 2 giraffes peaking their heads out from it.

Last week we spotted two other ark buildings along Hwy 98 between Panama City and Fort Walton Beach, FL.
