Only Working Danish Windmill In America

You can pay a small fee to take a tour up into mill itself. Depending on the weather and if it is running, you can even step outside on the ledge to see the blades up close and have a wonderful view of the surrounding area.

The tour starts with a 10 minute video on the history of the windmill. It's a very interesting documentary, but may bore small children.

The gift shop is wonderful and run by sweet volunteers who are full of stories to share if you have time to listen.
