The topsy-turvy Twisted House looks like it's being supported by its own roof. It created by John McNaughton, an artist whose work has been featured in Smithsonian collections and the White House.
[Leeandpaul, 03/31/2025]The roof is starting to cave in and it's getting moldy.

Walk all the way through from the front of the art museum to the back doors and walk out, and the house will be a few hundred ahead on the left!
[Paul Neal Sansom, 12/02/2012]Great roadside stop. The outdoor grounds behind the art center house the twisted house and some other great sights. It is calm, serene and beautiful. The center was open for visitors when we stopped.
We could see outdoor lights wrapped around several trees. It must be pretty at night! There is an outdoor deck overlooking a waterway for some great photo opportunities!

This was a great and relaxing stop, check out the art center as well for some surprisingly good art. House is bigger and prettier than expected!
