The Lenoir Memorial Hospital Health & Science Museum in Kinston, NC, features a digestive system you can crawl through. You enter through the mouth (where else?) and as you crawl through the mouth, stomach, and intestines, you activate sensors for audio descriptions of the functions of the various parts of the digestive system.
This small hometown museum also includes a crawl-through model of a blood vessel (it's dark in there!), a planetarium, and other exhibits. It is right next to the Neuseway Park Nature Center, which is not that exciting but worth a quick trip as long as you are there.
