We loved him! Totally worth a stop. Even bought a key chain.

Pink Elephant

My family and I re-opened the Pink elephant gas station and store in May, and really love visiting with people. The elephant has been in our town for about 50 years and has always been a part of our lives. It was my husband's 1st job pumping gas way back when; he grew up just a mile down the road.

The station is a Citgo and has had many names throughout the years. We named the station Andy's Pink Elephant in memory of our infant son, who passed away in 1991 with a heart defect. It is his elephant. We have started a Wall of Fame and are hoping visitors will send in new and old photos of the elephant to put up on the stations walls. People enjoy looking at them and reading the Wall of Fame.

Pink Elephant

Good News! A new owner came in and bought the gas station and LOVES the elephant so much she is giving away pink elephant bumper and window stickers to those who come by to see it! She is asking that you send in a photo of you and the elephant so she can line the walls of the place with photos! Well worth the stop and if you can, fill up the tank, too.

Pink Elephant

We went to visit the Pink Elephant on 3/6/10. He is still standing, but badly covered with graffiti and stickers. The Citgo station he is next to appears to be shut down and the land is for sale.

Pink Elephant with Glasses

I saw the Pink Elephant, but instead of shades, he had glasses without the lenses. It was right next to the Citgo station. He was awesome!

I bought key chain for $1.99 and a magnet for $1.19!
