Went to see the Liberty Bell Made of Wheat, but our trip coincided with the Goessel, KS 41st Annual Country Threshing Days 2014. MUCH more fun than just seeing the bell. Don't get me wrong, the bell is really cool, complete with a faux crack made of grain. But the festival was super fun, with lots of kid-friendly activities. We certainly learned a lot about Mennonite history, and coming from a state dominated by Southern Baptist and Assembly of God (we are Southern Baptists) churches, we know nothing about Mennonites.
