Adam has sent us a few of these "lost men of the sea" memorials, and we're mulling over whether they qualify as unique or odd monuments. We imagine every coastal town can't afford to neglect paying tribute to their seafaring dead. This one at least provides a statue and a sheltering gazebo with benches, where one could contemplate a nasty storm rolling in off the Gulf of Alaska.
