We're not sure how bucolic this town would seem during a February blizzard, but it is a counterpoint to the Michigan town named Hell.

Hwy 23, Paradise, MI
Directions:
North of St. Ignace on Hwy 123, along Lake Superior. For the record, Hell is roughly 340 miles due south of Paradise.

Michigan is a lovely place to say you've been to Paradise and Hell in one day.

Town Named Paradise

You have Hell, Michigan listed, but not Paradise in the UP. Great that one state has both Paradise and Hell.

Years ago we were in a tavern there, and were looking for Jimmy Buffet's Cheeseburger in Paradise on the juke box. They said the cooks had it taken off because they got so tired of hearing that played every time someone ordered a damned cheeseburger.
