Mysterious Moving Rocks
You need good tires to get there; it is 27 miles down a rock and gravel road that had been recently graded when I went in February. The rangers seem concerned about sharp rocks on the tires more than high clearance.
Don't be a jerk! If the playa is wet or damp don't go walking on it!
