Sleepy Hollow Cemetery
Park at the church. Follow the walking path on the left, then up the hill about halfway. The plot is on the right. Look for flowers in front of the plot in June. A map and other information is at Irving's gravesite.

The Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, part of the Old Dutch Churchyard, is prominent in Washington Irving's "Sleepy Hollow" story. You can see the Brom Bones grave site -- he name is taken from the nicknames of a father and son, Abraham (Brom) and his son Abe (Bones) Jr. Martling. And then there's the Headless Horseman grave site....
