After an earlier attempt, I drove back and found him! He's still there. A little worn, but still there.

There's an approximately fifteen foot tall statue of a peg-legged sailor with a hook for a missing hand. Seems like he's had a hard life.
He's actually located by the side of the road that goes from Cape May to Wildwood Crest, just before you get to the drawbridge. He is part of a sign advertising a couple of restaurants at Two Mile Landing.
