I have lived in Dooms all of my life. The Purple Cow began as a small fast food hamburger restaurant. I remember the hamburgers sold for .15 cents. Had many good times there.

Large purple cow sits atop an approximately 20 foot post. This purple cow has been there at least [40] years. There have been various businesses that have occupied the property.

- I-64 exit 96. North around six miles, first through Waynesboro on Mt Torry Rd, which changes to US 340/Delphine Ave. and finally to East Side Hwy. On the northeast corner of East Side Hwy and Purple Cow Rd.
