- At the Blue Gill Restaurant. I-10 exit 30 onto US 90/Battleship Pkwy. Drive east for around 1.5 miles. On the north side; look for the sign. The booth is just inside the door of the restaurant.

I followed up on this tip and saw no signs of the king, and the hostess had only vaguely heard that before. We saw a sign on the road that suggests the Blue Gill might have moved or been heavily flood damaged. Anyway, good restaurant with friendly staff and a big fish in front.
[Hunter King, 02/25/2010]In the Blue Gill Restaurant on the Causeway between Spanish Fort and Mobile is the booth where Elvis Presley sat in the 50s or 60s. It's right inside the door of the restaurant.
