Biggest Jesus in the USA. A towering nontraditional statue that could dangle three cars from each outstretched wrist without damage.

Pretty impressive site. They were working on some repairs while we were there.

Here is a true rarity, a round rock! Apparently very few exist. This rare example resides at the Christ of the Ozarks compound on Passion Play Road in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The inscription reads:
THIS STONE SPHERE IS ONE OF A VERY LIMITED NUMBER IN THE WORLD. IT WAS FOUND NEAR PRIM, ARKANSAS. THE LIMITED NUMBER MEASURE FROM 3 TO 4 FEET IN DIAMETER. THIS PARTICULAR ROCK HAS A MINIMUM VALUE OF $1000.00. IT SYMBOLIZES THE MAGNIFICENCE OF GOD'S CREATION.
Man, had I known round rocks were so scarce and valuable, I'd have been keeping all of the hundreds (maybe thousands) that I've seen through the years!
[GypsyNester.com, 04/01/2009]I work and live in Branson, Missouri (close to Eureka Springs) and I heard the following information which may or may not be true about the Christ of the Ozarks Statue.
You will note that the Christ of the Ozarks statue has no feet. In the original plans the statue was drawn with feet. But upon construction it was decided to leave the feet off. Why, you ask? Well, apparently, because the statue was to be built on a hill, if the feet were left on...the height of the statue would exceed the aircraft warning limits and Jesus would have had to have a little red light on the top of his head.
Apparently, aesthetically, they opted to lose the feet rather than have poor JC suffer the indignity of going through eternity sporting a red blinking beanie.
