Drove by this great welcome sign to the town. The dinosaur is clearly a big part of the city, since all of the street name signs have pink dino-silhouettes on them.

Dinah looks great at night! Her eyeball rotates and welcomes visitors to Vernal westbound on Hwy 40.

Just wanted to send a picture of the new and improved Dinah. She is now holding a card welcoming all to Vernal. And the rest of Vernal has spruced up quite a bit since our last visit eight years ago. Nice town!
[Lisa Teet, 08/06/2006]Dinah has been moved! The Dine-A-Ville motel is history (for good reason, it appeared), but Dinah has been relocated to the east end of Vernal, UT, still on Hwy 40. It is rumored that she will someday hold a postcard where she once held the motel sign, but until then she is poised to hold something, anything! On a newly landscaped rise, and sporting a fresh coat of dinah-pink paint, her sweet smile and long lashes continue to welcome you to Vernal.
