Slick and commercial, former Red Planet became E.T. Encounter diner and had a charming flying saucer fountain in its parking lot, alien spaceships (and alien dummies) and martian murals inside.

Directions:
On the south side of Hwy 89A, about 1.5 miles west of its intersection with Hwy 179. Between Inspiration and View Drives.

This is now closed. Went when it was open and the food was baaaaaad, so I understand why even such a fun gimmick couldn't keep it alive!
