There's a stone pathway leading to his gravesite, which has lots of beer and liquor bottles on it. Enter either gate, take a left and stay along the fence; cemetery not kept up.
[Toste, 05/13/2021]Clyde and Buck Barrow's graves are only part of the fascination with this very old cemetery, which was established in 1846. There are several marked graves of veterans of the Confederate States of America. And it is not in a bad part of town. I have lived one mile from this cemetery for 33 years and it's safe virtually all the time. It was once named the "Struck" Cemetery for a couple who were immigrants from Germany and have a very large monument on the east side of the cemetery. A great history spot in the city of Dallas.
[Keith Carlisle, 05/31/2019]There is an opening to the Western Heights Cemetery on right side. No gate, just go up the stairs and at the far left side are the Barrow graves. There is a trail to them. The cemetery is overgrown and not mowed, so stay on the path -- there might be snakes. Some people leave flowers, others leave different calibers of bullets.
[Kathy StClair, 05/30/2019]Really rough part of town. The Fort Worth Haven is not doing a very good job maintaining the Cemetery.
[Sandy, 06/25/2017]There is a business on the corner of Navaro and Fort Worth. Park there and the graves are on the other side of the fence. Dart in, grab your pictures, and slip back out.
