[Kim Roddy, 07/27/2010]Approx. 150,000 gallon pool shaped like Texas that is readily apparent if you stand on the roof of the snack bar! Has been around for about 45 years and is privately run. It has always been called "The Texas Pool."
[T. Dorsett, 04/30/2008]Here is another Texas-shaped swimming pool for your list. It is called "Texas Pool" and is located in Plano, Texas, north of Dallas. It is a private swimming pool (not operated by the city) run on a membership basis. My kids used to go there for group swimming parties. The pool is fairly large and the Texas shape not immediately apparent. I think the "Texas Pool" name is fairly new.
