- On the southeastern tip of Oahu. Take US 1 east from Honolulu to exit 27, then continue east on Hwy 72/Kalanianole Hwy for another 7.5 miles. Look for the parking lot on the ocean side of the road.

This is an old volcanic lava tube that got as far as the ocean. When the surf is right, water shoots up the tube and explodes out the other end as high as 30 feet in the air. Think of it as Hawaii's version of the Old Faithful geyser. The best time to visit the Blowhole is on windy days at high tide.
