The Dukes of Hazzard Mini-Museum is now free to go in. You pay extra for the mini golf, go karts, or to get your picture taken sitting in the General Lee. Also has a gift shop with lots of Dukes of Hazzard goods.
[Sarah & Tom, 08/13/2011]As we drove into Gatlinburg and neared the site of Cooter's Garage, I noticed the place had been leveled and the lot cleared for new construction. My heart was broken, thinking Cooter's Place was gone. After driving into town a little further, we were relieved to see Cooter had just moved down the road.
Cooter's Place has moved further into Gatlinburg and into a larger building. Now Cooter has Go Carts and Miniature Golf to go along with them Duke Boys and all the Dukes of Hazzard memorabilia. When we were there, so was Rick Hurst (Deputy Cletus Hogg). I wish I could have gotten Cletus to chase me in a go-cart. Maybe next time, Deputy.
