Directions:: Peshtigo Fire Museum. From US-41 coming from the south, turn left on Ellis Avenue. The museum is at the corner of Ellis and Oconto with the cemetery adjacent. Several signs in the town point the way.
Hours:: Museum: May-Oct. daily 10-4. Cemetery gated after hours. (Call to verify) Local health policies may affect hours and access.

The old wooden flames monument has been replaced by a new stone one. It will be dedicated on October 8, 2021 on the 150th anniversary of the fire.

Great Peshtigo Fire Museum and Mass Grave

Free to get in, but donations are accepted. A great place to stop (right off Hwy 41) for an hour to explore the cemetery and museum. A great piece of forgotten American history.
