I'm in the chuck wagon right now. It's very comfy! The whole place is beautiful and fun, and the owner, Jerry Kinkade, is a great guy. I'm really looking forward to breakfast on the grill tomorrow.
[Jen, 06/01/2012]A unique bed and breakfast decorated in a cowboy and Indian theme. One room has a real Chuck Wagon as one of its beds, plus room for 4 more people. The Rocky Mountain Room has a real Hay Wagon to sleep in plus room for 4 more people. The Sheepherder Wagon is an 1890s refurbished wagon and will sleep two. There is a detached bath house for the Sheepherder Wagon guests. We slept in the Chuck Wagon.
We ate outdoors with the very hearty breakfast cooked on an open fire. The owner, Jerry, had his dog do tricks, then took us to see his two horses, Zip and Stormy. They also do tricks.
