Steele, North Dakota: World's Largest Sandhill Crane
Made of metal, but looks like the real, if giant, thing. Named "Sandy," it is 40-ft. high, built in 1998-99 by self-taught ironworker James Miller.

To get to this statue you'll need to drive over a bumpy gravel drive filled with construction debris, but it's worth it!
