Tiny Chapel

Stop, pause, reflect. This tiny church near Creston, Washington is located alongside Highway 2. We found this to be a relaxing and beautiful place to stop for a moment and stretch our legs.

[Caroline Stuckey, 06/30/2008]

An uncommon tiny church hewn from logs. With space to accommodate perhaps 18 travelers, it's a little larger than most of the roadside rest chapels. But still cozy. Lights strings on the entrance log frames could be for holidays, or perhaps year-round. The sign reads: "Roadside Prayer Chapel - Stop - Rest - Pray."
