The jets are really easy to see from I-35. We got a great picture by accident when we were taking the photo and a "No U-turn" sign got in the way.

Off of I-35 there is a giant statue that consists of 3 T-38 jet planes [painted in Air Force "Thunderbirds" flight demo team style]. It used to be in front of an air museum that closed -- Heritage Hall. Now it's right next to the Cabela's and you can see it from the freeway.

Saw this in its earliest incarnation, in 1998, in front of Heritage Hall -- originally there was a single jet arched upside-down. In 2009 all three jets were moved a mile south, where they now stand in front of the local municipal airport.
