Tualatin, Oregon: Spinning Globe 65th Meridian Monument

The 65th Meridian doesn't get near the recognition (or signage) of the famous 45th Parallel, but this nice monument helps to make up for it.

Address:
SW 65th Ave./Meridian Rd., Tualatin, OR
Directions:
Take I-5 exit 289, then a quarter-mile east on Nyberg St., which bends to the right and becomes SW 65th Ave./Meridian Rd. Near that bend, at the corner of SW 65th Ave. and Nyberg Lane. The monument aligns with the telephone poles on SW 65th Ave./Meridian Rd. It is located on the Tualatin River Greenway trail about halfway between Nyberg Lane and the river.
