Jim Falls, Wisconsin: Old Abe the Eagle
Mascot of a Civil War infantry company, the eagle was named in honor of President Abraham Lincoln, survived numerous engagements, and retired to Jim Falls until he died in a fire in 1881. The 10.5 ft. fiberglass statue is a tribute to the brave eagle.

After visiting the Corrugated Tube Man while traveling through town we spotted this find. There was a little informational shelter, but again, in a rush to the next destination, no time for reading so don't know the story behind it.
