First Americans Museum

This museum is beautiful, but there are more authentic artifacts to be seen at the Oklahoma History Museum. For all of the hype, I wasn't impressed. I got locked out when trying to walk to the mound, and the mound has nothing; it's just a walkway to a mound of dirt.

Rather than just any mound; it's the World Largest Human-Man Mound, or at least it was when when it was shoveled into place as part of the museum in 2006.

Tried to go to the World's Largest Mound today. Gate was locked and looks like construction has come to a standstill on the museum.

Frustrating and tantalizing, the mound beckons the curious -- but remains off-limits until the rest of the museum can be built.

We couldn't find the walkway to climb the World's Largest Mound due to construction of the new museum. The architecture of the museum looks impressive.
