Lifesize T-Rex

Built as promotion to the first Dinosaur Days in 2001, the giant 30-ft. long steel silhouette of a T-Rex can still be seen along Highway 12 east of the tiny town of Marmarth.

For such a small town, Marmarth is jam-packed with Roadside kitsch. Once a year they have Dinosaur Daze, which celebrates the area's rich Hell Creek formation; in September they host the cowboy poetry contest, which draws cowboy poets and quilters from around the Midwest and they have a pretty darn good car museum as well.
