The Cascades - Illuminated Waterfall Show

There is a parkwhich has huge, stepped waterfalls called The Cascades. There is a coordinated light and music show each night, which uses colored lights syncopated with the music to highlight the waters as they "cascade" down the numerous steps of the waterfalls. The cascades have been there for at least 40 years (I have been going there since I was at least 10) and probably longer. I don't have the exact date they were built but they are one of the major attractions in Jackson Michigan.

These are the "Largest Manmade Illuminated Waterfalls in North America." Sixteen waterfalls; "a spectacular array of computerized colors and music. The older synchronized water fountain shows include Waltzing Waters in Fort Myers, FL (open again); and the Waltzing Waters show in Branson, where the Amazing Frederick plays two pianos at once. There is also a report of a "Living Waters Auditorium" in Strasburg, PA. And Precious Moments, Carthage, Missouri, is merrily gushing over its giant indoor Fountain of Angels show...
