The candle is neat, but it is what's inside the establishment that makes it a great stop when traveling on I-70. Beyond the candles, gifts, and Xmas stuff, they have a cafe with homemade food and very clean and well-maintained restrooms. The men's room had a decidedly masculine airplane decor and my wife tells me the ladies room was well stocked with a variety of lotions.

We visited the candle at night. Unfortunately, that meant the candle store was already closed, but it also meant that the candle was lit and it was really quite pretty. Worth the time to drive off the highway and bask in its enormous glow long enough for a picture and a "We saw the world's largest candle" moment -- because that's what crazy road side stops are all about, right?
