It took us a while to find the Voyageur statue, too. It's near the fort by the river, not in the campground.

This is definitely still there, I visited it August of 2009. It is along the river and I think north of Veterans Park. There is also a replica fort nearby.
[Jack Steck, 09/03/2009]I looked for this statue for quite some time. I was able to find veterans park, but no sign of the statue.
[Drew Anderson, 07/24/2009]Doesn't look like the kind of statue that would be moved capriciously or easily destroyed. Anyone else seen the Voyageur, uh, voyaging?
The Cloquet Voyageur Statue looks to be made of fiberglass and is located in Veterans Park in Cloquet.
