An interesting engineering feat from the Missouri Highway Department in 1926, according to an old marker posted on the bridge. There is also a park area adjacent to the bridge where you can park and kids can play.

Fun spot to get out and walk. The view from the bridge is beautiful, high above the James River.

We spotted this after taking a wrong turn heading toward Branson. It's a closed-down Y Bridge that splits near one end. My wife and I walked it end to end. There's a nice view down the river, as well.

Galena's Y-Bridge is amply noted with Y-Bridge Boulevard an official nearby street name. But the "Y" bridge part is relatively short on one end, not as impressive (if you consider a Y-bridge impressive) as Zanesville Ohio's Y-Bridge, which splits over water.
