Kids loved it. I loved it! Turn left at the church, and before the curve you will see a pull off. Throw the car in reverse, and we go about 25 mph backwards. Hazard lights recommended!

It starts at a remote crossroads next to Blaine Christian Church. Drive south along the quiet (except Sunday mornings) Putney Rd, apparently downhill for about half a mile before the curve. Put the car in neutral and it will begin to roll backwards, uphill, drawn to the church! We visited on our honeymoon; it was a pronounced effect and a fun and eerie experience.

Stopped by Gravity Hill on our way through, back to Ohio. We followed the directions and it worked! Multiple times our car rolled backwards up hill towards the church -- was worth the venture off course. Our kids enjoyed it.
[Dennis, 07/17/2016]Stopped by on our way through and followed the directions, and it worked multiple times. Our car rolled backwards up hill towards the church. Gravity Hill is worth the venture off course. Our kids enjoyed it as well.
[Dennis, 07/15/2016]My boyfriend and I just visited this and were so disappointed! The terrain right around there is pretty flat, so it's hard to even locate where the "hill" should be. Then the momentum is so subtle, we looked at each other saying "Is that it?" We recommend skipping this in favor of the nearby Kampvilla RV Park, home to the giant yellow dinosaur (we only saw one) and many other fun vintage '50s painted cement characters!
