We could not find the eatery - I think it is no longer there.
[L. True, 04/09/2010]The only restaurant in Hooper is right on the highway. It is really ratty looking on the outside; just wait until you get inside! You start looking around for Rod Serling. There are dummies everywhere, potato sacks on the ceiling, and ancient peanut shells on the floor.
As we perused the menu, our gracious little hostess gave us a binder with the local history. That explains the dummies. They are representations of the founders, doctor, madame, etc.
The place is not too clean, but STAY! The burgers and fries are worth it! The fries are fresh cut, the meat, veg, and buns fresh. And you won't go away hungry. Or bored!
