Papa Burger was part of a nuclear "Burger Family" of four that once stood outside many A&W root beer stands. Only a few survive. This one is in good shape.

The A& W Root Beer Man in Faribault is over his "aqua" period, and back in regulation orange and brown.

I took a photo of the A & W Root Beer man outside of the A & W Family Restaurant & Drive In on Wilson Avenue in the thriving metropolis of Faribault, Minnesota.
Though he's not a Muffler Man, isn't the biggest of anything that I know of, wasn't constructed out of hardened chewing gum or Fluffy the cat's hairballs, and doesn't mark a spot where the laws of physics are mysteriously nullified, no other roadside symbol that I'm aware of signals such darn good root beer floats.
